RAIN DELAY UPDATE!
BECAUSE OF THE FORECAST PROBABILITY OF HEAVY RAIN WE ARE MAKING THE FOLLOWING ADJUSTMENTS.
- We will not ride or serve BBQ tomorrow (10/11/25) as originally planned.
- Instead of a poker game, we will do a drawing for the great prizes that have been donated.
- All persons who have registered for the ride will be included in the drawing -- one chance per rider registered.
- Everyone who registers to ride will receive a voucher/coupon code to come ride at the ranch on another date. If you register(ed) to ride one of our horses, you will get a coupon code good for booking any future availability on Hobble Creek Outfitters' calendar.
- We will schedule a BBQ for a future date. All registered riders will receive an invitation and voucher for the BBQ!
- You can still register for the ride to be entered in the drawing and receive vouchers for a future ride and the BBQ. Win, Win Win!
About the Ride
What: A "Poker" Trail Ride to Raise Funds for the Exchange Club of Utah Valley

What We're Doing
A poker ride at our ranch. At stops along the trail, riders will draw cards, receiving a full hand by the end of the ride. The highest hand wins our grand prize. Additional prizes will be given for fun hands:
- Most Kings
- Most Queens
- Most Jacks
- Worst Hand
- Lucky 7 - (Most 7s)
- Lucky 5 - (Most 5s)
- ACE - Most Aces
- Best Hand with a Jack and a Queen
- Worst Hand
After the ride we'll be serving a delicious barbecue lunch!
Why We're Doing It
Each year the Exchange Club of Utah Valley awards two youth scholarships. The Youth of the Year recognizes outstanding high school seniors for their well-rounded achievements, leadership, and community service in addition to scholastic merit. The A.C.E. award honors students for Accepting the Challenge of Excellence by overcoming adversity to graduate high school and move their lives in positive directions. Last year, after the tragic loss of our dear friend, Wyatt Rasmussen, the Exchange Club voted to name our scholarship program in Wyatt's honor. Wyatt truly exemplified the excellence we want to promote through our youth scholarships. He was always the first person to make a friend, reaching out to help others, and excelling in his life's endeavors. We are now pleased to ride in his honor to raise funds to support the scholarships that bear his name. Let's Ride Like Wyatt!
